I know this may not be the best way to do things but I am going to ask for opinions anyway. I would like to try driving cargo vans. Mainly because I have been out of work and would like to start making some money, no matter how much or how little. I thought about cdl but for now I would like to see how I could adapt to otr without having to go to school. Would Ibe going the right way about this or is this stupid. Also are there companies who will hire new guys to drive with no experience?

Hey guys thanks for the info. I have been out of work for quite awhile now and thought I would look into this. However after reading some of the posts that were recommended this appears to be a weird field to get into. I am not giving up completely but to hear these folks talk you would have to be crazy to want to do this. It really does not sound like anybody is making a living doing this. I cant believe that everyone on here is actually still working as a driver. Maybe I am missing something.
