Looking to Sublease

We have a truck comming off contract and wish to try to make it on our own using this available truck.

Does any one know of a trucking company that will let us run under their authority and insurance for % of the load no other support required. Wish to try this before we go through the paperwork & $$$ to get own.

I have found freight but do not have my own authority.

Off the top of my head I don’t recall the name of the company, but yes there is a company that will let you run under their numbers, but I don’t know about insurance. If you search the archives and look you will find it. OH! It’s It’s coming to me! Hinton! I think the name is Hinton, that will do it. As I said check the good old info bank, its in there.

I have a couple D units at TST, and you can run under their authority, and get ins thru them at decent rates, or you can get your own ins. The man you want to talk to is Jerry, and his phone# is 517-712-5389. He's a good guy, and he's honest. If ya talk to him, tell him AAron Duke told you to call him. Hope this helps ya out. Good Luck

If he would run under TST, wouldn’t they lock him into a contract? I think he is saying that he is coming out of a contract and wants to freelance for a while and test the waters. Am I right Reefer Hauler? You want to get your own loads and/or do your own billing? If you do make sure you have some type of contract that the shipper, or broker signs stating when and how you get paid. By law, someone has only 15 days to pay from the date the load was delivered. OR! Am I wrong in my assumption?

That was a good choice of words I am looking to "test the waters" before I get my own authority and pull the other truck off contract. I would do all billing and sales, Thanks for the info will check into both Hilnton and TST
