Ducks Unlimited has put out it's late winter Canadian nesting ground report and over all it look pretty good. There is good snow pack over much of the nesting grounds. This could be another banner year for waterfowl. All the work being done by conservation groups like Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl and Waterfowl USA pays off when nature provides the water to fill the projects.

Now all we need is a slow melt down..Im thinking any major flooding created by a fast melt down could cause some damage to projects along the river systems??
I don't think it would take much to silt over projects like the Maple river that was or is near completion. Not much seperating the river from the flooding area here..

A slow melt would be good.
