Looking for Input on carriers Landstar, Con Way, F

I posted this last week in the newbies section and still need some input. I am looking to put on a cargo van and have been researching the above carriers. Fill me in on the pros/cons of Landstar,Fed Ex, Con Way,Panther,Tri-State. I live in Ohio and consider factors such as paid per mile, percentage, qualcomm fees, workers comp., unladen insurance, fuel surcharges to drivers etc. etc. Any info would be appreciated. Which carriers seem to keep the vans running with good loads. Basically which carriers can you make the best money with and be respected!

If you care what others think of you, don't be a truck driver (unless it's other drivers, the motoring public does not have a clue what it takes to be a professional driver). Thanks to my dad I know that but I forgot it for a while. Sorry I can not help on the rest (do not believe everything the recruiters tell you). GOD bless you and I wish you the best!!!
