Looking for companies that don't require a Hazmat

I am looking for a company or companies in the expedite business,that don't require a Hazmat endorsement.Then with that,I'm looking for an owner with a 1 ton cargo or a Sprinter.I have been searching and called a couple companies,but with no luck.I find it unbelievable,there is NO owners needing drivers,for a van or Sprinter,anywhere in Ohio,Michigan,or Indiana.Thanks !:)

A Haz/mat endorsement on your CDL is not that difficult to obtain.You do need to study the manual and know the answers on your test. It is a selling point to an owner that you may want to drive for. Running a van the only Haz/mat loads you might get would be paint,batteries
etc.
Having said that, the revenue that you would split with a van owner is not going to be that great. Assume a 60/40 split with you buying fuel and tolls, not much left over for you. If you run the van as a team you might do better.
I would look into going with a straight truck set up. Plenty of owners can get you started, but you must have a CDL class B,probably an air brake endorsment and the Haz/Mat endorsement.

Bolt Express,out of Toledo,Oh
Does not require a Haz-Mat endorsement.
As they do not haul Haz-Mat.

become the carrier yourself forget about haz-mat most dont pay that much extra so why do it?

Express-1 dooes not require Haz-mat. They may start carrying Haz-mat, but it will still not be mandatory.

You may look at Diamond Delivery from Ft Wayne, IN. I dont know much about them, but I dont think they do hazmat.

I heard a truck stop rumor that P2 requires hazmat but doesn't pay the drivers O/O any extra for hazmat loads?

true or false?

try hours in maumee,oh doesnt req. one they dont haul it if u have one the might get a haz. load to get u out of someplace but dont pay extra for it
