From the article cited:

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy has just announced he is leaving France because of taxes.

We can only hope 39, 42 and 44 quickly follow his example.

When the guilt riden wealthy are gone we the working class will be forced to pay more.
The tax issue is the real reason I would love to leave NYS just looked my $2495.31 tax bill property assesed at $69,000.00 at least 15 grand above the market value. Unfortunately If I move I stand to loose about 20 grand the balance of the mortgage. Sure property is selling in western NYS but its mostly bank repos and below actual value that I should be bale to sell for.

Mickelson has since apologized for his remarks about taxes. One could conclude he felt pressured to retract his "insensitive" comments and thus is guilt ridden about making said remarks.

Phil Mickelson offers personal apology, talks 'paying his fair share' | The Daily Caller

More like 1 or more of his sponsors objected and he stood to lose a lot of money, more then the taxes would have been worth.....I am betting more of a hypocrite then anything read spineless ...

“I’ve never had a problem paying my fair share,” Mickelson responded. “I don’t know what that is right now, but I don’t have a problem paying my fair share.”

"my fair share" "my fair share"... yeah, that sounds like a non-prompted, non-coerced, spontaneous decision and statement on his part.

He should have stuck to his previous statement, but he was bullied by some and pressured by his sponsers to retract the statement to the point of being guilt ridden for making it. I guess he figured it is pointless to speak out publicly about it and lose even more of his money from sponsers on top of his taxes.

A president and his people would never do a thing like that. Don't believe it? Just ask Vince Foster.
