There has been a number of these in Europe running around. It is good to see it here, the composite material is the same used in Western Star sleepers.

Lets see...put it on a GM / Ford cut-away, take the cab roof out to open up the cab to stand up, open up the wall for complete cab access to the box, not a little sliding door, and be able to have a bulkhead set back at any point the user wants and it would be a nice box.

It's very interesting but I'm sure it will require logging. In a log free chassis I suspect load capacity would be far below the mandatory payload requirement. It's definitely a fine looking vehicle though.

the srw is 12,000 gvw, end of that conversation....they are bring out a HD model with 3 gvw's up to 19,000 lbs

But I like the box! they need to get it on the GM / Ford cut-aways

More about the 2011 NPR ECO-MAX

Posted: Monday, August 09, 2010

Categories: N-Series, Diesel engine

The new 2011 12,000 lb. GVWR NPR named the ECO-MAX uses Isuzu’s 4JJ1-TC engine, which is turbocharged and intercooled. This robust 3.0-liter dual overhead cam directinjection four-cylinder diesel delivers 150 horsepower and 282 lbs.-ft. of torque.

The engine has a 10,000-mile oil change interval and carries a 310,000-mile B10 life rating, which means that 90% of the engines should reach 310,000 miles without requiring overhaul. This engine has been proven around the globe and now, for the first time, is offered to the U.S. market.

The 4JJ1-TC engine employs Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology to meet the latest and toughest emissions requirements. The SCR system injects Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) into the hot exhaust stream to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions

I Don't get it .

The cab tilts (sorry had to say that), as it opens there is an arc to it and it clears the top by a few inches.

Why are these mortage and refi guys being allowed to stay!?!? And to the posters, your continued action will probably not bring you much if any business from a board that you infect in this manner......

It is sitting here for more than 4 hours and no one has deleted and locked the account?

I always click on that ! down on the left to report them when I see them. The Admin and Mods usually pop them off pretty quick when I do that.

Remember, not all Admins and Mods are here 24/7 looking at every single post. They may not even be interested in "parking in Las Vegas" and might not even look in here to see what the discussion is all about. At least by "reporting" the post, one of them now has a reason to look in here.

It's now 10:05AM CST. Let's see how they quick they are at deleting this co*kroach spammer.

brisco you are correct we are not here 24/7 but that does not mean there is not "coverage". when you click the ! it sends a message to the in-boxes of all the mods and admin folks advising of a reported post by an eo member. my guess is the first to see the email will take action on the reported post.

thanks for the heads up.

Hahaha....

When I posted above, I don't know why I thought I was in the "Las Vegas Parking" thread. I'm not going to edit it to say "the Supreme Box" thread. I'm just going to leave it up there to show my dumbass-e-ness. (Turtle should like that:p)

Jack, I know how most of these features work on these boards. I used to own several of them years ago, and I "Moderate" over at the AutoExpeditor.com discussion board.

Yes, these spammers are hell to keep up with at times, aren't they!!

Why bring me into this? I'm not bothering anyone in this thread. I'm not even participating in it.

Besides, when I read it, I thought the mentioning of the Vegas parking thread was an example, in addition to this thread, of topics that various moderators might not be interested in and thus are not reading.

Moose, the Faring is ATTACHED to the roof of the cab and when the cab tilts the faring goes with the cab...it is called a "nested wind faring", because when the cab is down the faring sits in an opening in the box.. you can see how it fits in the pictures. Take a look at the one that shows the Ft Wall of the box. You can see the opening for the faring and just the corner of the tilited bab ......the cab does not tilt on an arch, it tilts just as most other tilt cabs do....

Not paying much attention to this setup but others are as I described, the aerodynamic flaring is on the box, not the cab and it clears by a few inches.

But really?

an Arch?

You do mean an ARC right?

What do you call it than, a tangent?

Forward tilting cabs kind of tilt forward and they follow an arc.

Too funny chef. :D
