I’m in south Texas by McAllen, but I wouldn’t mind running to San Antonio or even Houston. That’s like 5 hours away.

Most of the expedite stuff coming out of Pharr and Brownsville are headed to the upper Midwest, 1500 miles. Once in a while something will stay in Texas, but it's rare.

I have a hunch you are looking for a same day local delivery service or a courier service, not expedite.

"Local" and "expedite" are pretty much mutually exclusive terms. "Hot shot" might be more what you are looking for, or one of the local speedy delivery companies.
