OK.. weird run today... went to pick up an item.. going to Detroit.. get less than 2 hrs from delivery, customer calls back, says take it back, the customer it was going to already found one closer. OK.. fine, take it back to pickup.. problem is, they will close before I get there.. can we hold it overnight an drop it back at their dock in the morn? Um.. I guess.. extra miles paid, plus holding over night, equals a good bit more than the run would have paid.. plus sleeping in my own bed since it picked up close to home.

Can't complain too much, tho it was one screwed up run!

In Phillip SD...135 miles from home and getting dark...1 more night sleeping in truck...be home for breakfast!....:)

Got the van back today at 1630. Got mile down the road and check engine light came on, lol.
However they were good to me. Oil change free. 2* glow plugs free, updated def chipset program free. And gave me hoekstra hat. Put in turbo housing bracket and egr cooler at cost of parts. Rear main seal plus labor...795.00 total.
Also steam cleaned my engine...all shiny now. :)
So now back there first thing in the morn to sort out the code and then back into service to beg for a mighty load...:p

Even though I took 2 days off to get things done it is not bad, along with the past 3 weeks as well.i hope it keeps up.

Well it has picked up the last few weeks and some new good accounts have come on board. It was a slow start but I think we should still have a good year. The new sales people are doing a good job and we are starting to see some really positive results.

I am up..awake no....
we have this huge shed....needed cleaned out...1 load in the pick up and probably 2 more ready to go the dump this morning when it opens...

Morning gang.
Spent yesterday doing some minor repairs to trucks in the yard, today doing a few things to my ride, Celebrate Fathers day at home tomorrow then back at it Monday. Hope everyone has a good weekend and Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's out there.

Good morning gang! Hope everyone has a safe and productive Father's Day weekend. Golfing with a customer in a charity outing today. Hopefully tomorrow I can just relax for a bit.
