"Load Boards"

Is there a "Load Board" out there with listings for cargo vans?

We've checked out GetLoaded.Com, but with the exception of the listings for Hot Shots, all else seems to be for big trucks.

Thanks,

RE:

I reckon that was a really dumb question :+ - Or is it one we should already know the answer to?

If you choose to operate under your own authority, are there agents or brokers that cater to vans, or do ya just go out and beat the bushes?

Thanks for the help!

JPT,

No, it's not a dumb question.

However, it has been asked many times - do a search in the forums. The truth is there is very little if any demand for a single cargo fleet by load boards. It is 99% tractor/trailer with the remaining 1% straight truck.

Your best bet would be to lease your truck to a carrier.

Or if you are an outstanding business person (who can single-handedly act as salesperson, operations manager, safety manager, accounting department, dispatch, collections, mechanic AND driver) you can try what Teacel has done - but it has taken him years to get where he is with his fleet of cargo vans.

Good luck either way!
