In April, 2003 an intergenerational team of Niko Matsakis of Boston, MA and Elias Vlanton of Takoma Park, MD created costofwar.com. After maintaining it on their own for the first year, they gave it to the National Priorities Project to contribute to their ongoing educational efforts.

I agree that this is not getting funny anymore. It is not just about the war that is a catalyst for people to complain who don't have a clue, but the really scary thing has been the comments coming from the senate about how talk radio and the ‘people’ caused the failure to ‘launch’ with the immigration ‘reform’ bill. I am sick of them blaming us for their inability to govern.

The president has been a disappointment with a lot of things, mainly the invasion issue.

I wrote to the Republican Party asking how stupid do they think we are and that if they continue to cr*p on their base, they will not win a seat as a dog catcher. I told them that this immigration bill is an unsupported bill by the people and they need to step away before it is too late for the party. Also I pointed out that it seems that there is no one steering the republican ship now and it seems that they are more fragmented than the demacrats ever were.

At the same time I also wrote to my state AG asking for guidance on how I can start a campaign to recall senator Levin because he seems to support Trent Lott’s comments about talk radio and he has done little in the way of helping get us some government jobs. It is rather sad that a like Arkansas can get a passport processing supercenter with two senators who have not yet served 10 years in the senate and also is not a border state while Michigan with a senior senator (going on 30 years) can’t get anything in our state to help us.
