Do you know what happened this week back in 1850?

CALIFORNIA became a state.

The State had no electricity.
The State had no money.

Almost everyone spoke Spanish.

There were gun fights in the streets.

So, basically, it was just like California today, except:

--the women had real breasts
--the men didn't hold hands.

Just a couple of corrections.
Regarding no money,sorry,we have the sixth largest economy in the world.More Millionaires in Palo Alto alone then most states.
Regarding your last comments,unlike many southern states,we no longer have sexual relations with our sheep or our cousins.
Oh well,some traditions have had to give way,sorry
Everything else looks pretty acurate.
