PS I got tired of trying to lift the hot steamer basket from the rice cooker, so I added 'loop handles' made from twist tie lengths [the kind you buy by the roll & cut lengths as needed]. They can take the heat of steaming/boiling, don't get in the way of the lid, and no more scalded fingers!

Linda, you forgot to mention how Bob uses the rice cooker as a parts cleaner. Add solvent, parts, set on low and drive for 300 miles.
