It don't get much better! Spent several hours on the Straights of Detroit and Lake Erie yesterday. I got to fish with a former employee and friend. Jim, who was in high school when he worked for me and is now a lawyer, spent the day with me. Nice young man, great to see how he grew up.

We got the speed/RPM testing done on the boat. Confirmed that I have the wrong size prop. Will be working on that over the next few days.

We also put some walleye in the box

Today I am taking Mrs. Layoutshooter out on to Lake Erie for some fishing. It will also be her first time on this boat.

Fishing with my dad and brother tomorrow.

Life could not get much better!!:D

Wanna bet...Your Propely right but it could be a bit warmer..36 degrees @ the house this morning..Truck is out of service and broke down at the house with air proplems to cold to get motivated and work on it..

Be safe out there.

46 here this morning, heading for 70, light winds, waves 2' or less. Water temp around 56. PERFECT! Will also be fishing with a couple of guys from DU later in the week! Sorry you truck is messed up, mine is in the shop. LOTS of "stuff" needs done. Like getting the AC working and new steers. Bunch of other junk too. SO, I will be fishing, then I will do some more fishing.

Life is definitely fine here in Florida! Hanging out at the Petr o in Reddick with some steaks on the grill and wonderful friends to pass the time with!

Shhh. Just don't talk hockey in this neck of the woods until Sept.

The locals will be all healed up by then.:)

Mrs. Layoutshooter and I put MORE fish in the pot for the fish fry tomorrow. Out onto Lake Erie again in the morning, this time with my Dad and Brother.

It is the day we celebrate Memorial Day. MANY died so we can enjoy our lives here.

Because of their sacrifice we can worship as we please, pursue happiness each in their own way and defend ourselves as we see fit. I will honor those who have passed before me, my brothers and sisters in arms, by spending the day fishing, and breaking bread with family.

We put MORE fish in the box today! It is now 4:40PM, ONLY 50 minutes to fish fry!!! What a LIFE!! It would suck to be having a normal day! This day is MAGNIFICENT!!
