I was watching O'Reilly last night and listened to his Talking Points Commentary when he brought up George Mason University's Center for Media and Public Affairs (CMPA) recent study on the Republican primaries. He stated the study found that ABC, NBC, CBS and FoxNews were all pretty much the same when scrutinizing the Republicans. Contrary to belief that FoxNews are shills for RNC.

Video . O'reilly's statement about the study is at the 1:15 mark.

I was intrigued and like anyone with half a brain I thought I'd check out the details of that study. And lo and behold I find this nugget of information which Mr. O'reilly conveniantly doesn't mention in his commentary.

Link to study: CMPA: TV News Bashes Romney, Boosts Horse Race

This study covers 483 stories on the Republican primaries that aired on the ABC, CBS, and NBC evening news and the first half hour of Fox News Channel’s “Special Report” during two time periods

Are you kidding me?

Mr. O'reilly, are you trying to tell me and your viewers that the first half hour of "Special Report" is indicative to the rest of FoxNews? More proof that FoxNews is speaking to the lowest common denominator of the viewing public.

And people lap this stuff up, unbelievable and pathetic!

Just like the LiBeraLS lap up the anti-gun, anti-Second Amendment "stuff" that the networks put out. Like the post about Remington guns I posted earlier today. Not that any Obama bum would pay attention to that. Obama bums agree with those lies so they are OKEE DOKEE in their minds. ANYTHING to get rid of guns. How else can their god take over the Country?

Not to mention how NBC and CBS faked explosions on cars to "prove" how dangerous American made cars were. It never ends, can't trust ANY of the so-called 'news outlets'.

Fox News is a 24/7 news network. This study also didn't include MSNBC and CNN. This study was based on the 1/2 hr newscast only.

From your link.

No Pro-GOP Tilt on Fox Overall, the GOP field has fared no better on Fox than on the broadcast networks. For all candidates combined in both time periods we studied, on-air evaluations of the Republican contenders were 41.4% positive on the networks and 41.2% positive on Fox.

I think he is just referencing that time period not the whole 24/7 cycle. The report doesn't address anything outside of those time periods.

That is how I see since the information is reflected from that report. IF, you were doing 12am EST to 1am EST it would obviously be different because they run Hannity in that time slot and it would be way to the right.

Ssshhhhhh....... people think Hannity is news.

NO WAY! That would be like saying that people think that 60 Minutes is news, OR, the NBC Nightly News, is a news show. Surely there is NO ONE out there that is THAT stupid!

I know, its crazy isn't it?

I think those that are agreeing with you do not understand your comment wasn't aimed at myself, but I could be wrong.

That is assuming though you understand where I was coming from on O'reilly's comments.

If you get the idea Hannity is a commentator and think people are crazy for thinking he is a reporter, why would you apply a different standard to O'Reilly.

Don't use common sense, it just makes you seem like you think things out before reacting and looking foolish.
