Happy Memorial Day to everyone. Just a quick reminder to stop and take a moment to remember why and for who we celebrate this holiday. All gave some, some gave all and made the ultimate sacrifice for our way of life.

I finally manged to get the flag up for this weekend, long overdue, considering JuJu's dad was in the service..7th Army..

JuJu was busy and did not see me putting it up and when she seen what I had done she had a case of wet eyes...she had just come from visiting her dads grave with her sister...

And a BIG thank you to all who has served and is serving!

Yes I got the flag out this early this morning, and sat on the porch and had my morning coffee and watched it wave in the wind. We lost a LT. Col. From or church last month so it was kind of brought home a little more this year as to the reason we take this day off...Give thanks to those men and women. Some have all to give, some have given it all...today we salute you all...Amen for all those that serve and fight to protect our Country and us...
