Leo,it's time to cut the anchor loose

Your anchor post has been at the top of this forum since may,and the last post to it was in sept. In my opinion it should be cut loose and allowed to settle into the forum. There are more interesting topics out there and we shouldn't have to skip by this dead topic to get to them.DD.

Actually I get 2 or 3 messages a month telling me it's good info and much needed. It's not a dead thread, it just doesn't get a lot of posts. I didn't realize it was such a big problem to scroll past though. I'd hate for anyone to sprain their finger on the mouse button or arrow key. :+

I agree with Leo. It's great info for a newb. Clicking on the 2nd thread is a problem? I must be missing something...

Sorry that I created such a controversy, looks like I hit a nerve.Maybe all these posts I've been reading about not questioning the veteren expediters advice or authority could have some merit.x(

I think it goes to fairness. While several forum members would likely have a desire to keep a post of their own at the top of the list, and thereby guarantee it would be read more often and appreciated more, I believe it is more fair to let the market decide as it were. Let posts float on their own and let forum members "vote" with their mouse clicks which topics are first read. Not every visitor reads every post. The more active ones are likely the more interesting ones on the day they are viewed. Let the dull ones sink and the interesting ones swim.

Didn't hit any nerves with me. I have no problem letting it go. I was just explaining that a lot of the people who read it and learn from it don't post to it since they don't have something to add to it.

Leo,

I find it valuable information that if followed will save O/O & drivers money, so please let it stay in it's current position.

Thanks

Since anchored posts are clearly the exception, I think it has nothing to do with fairness. The post isn't some long winded story. It's solid operational info that could put a couple of extra bucks in a drivers pocket at the end of the day. It's the kind of help we're supposed to try to give here.

We have indeed had several people state they used the info provided by Leo, and requested it be kept up top. We may start a seperate forum for such info, but for now, due to SEVERAL requests, I will reanchor the post.

Thanks,
