Lease Purchases

Ran into a driver in Seattle was purchasing thru a Lease this old overpriced truck. There is a post here in regards to OOIDA. People this should be a WARNING to you all. Never with out a lawyer do you sign into a purchase/lease.

OOIDA if your a member sends out articles in regards to this all of the time. CRX, England, and other giant carriers have been named in these lawsuites over pricing the truck, cutting the freight and letting the driver die on the vine. Take the truck back destroy the mans credit and life and do it over again.

People like this need to be hung, if this is what it takes to line ones pockets than I would rather be poor. But people will take advantage of anyone rich or poor if they think they are getting a good deal. We have all been taken advantage one time or another but I would hope anyone reading this will remember what I am writing.

The person I spoke with was desperate for answers, its to late buy now I am sure his truck is being repoed. What a shame, it was designed for his failure and the owner had a two way street and leasee was stuck in an alley.

That is why they are called a fleece.
I have yet to ever see a lease/purchace agreement that benefits the driver. Of course, there may be an exception, but I have never seen it.
Great advise on seeking legal council prior to entering into any agreement like this.
