Hum....Wasn't that the comments made during another war?

Tallcal, I put the book in the truck and getting back on the road, looking forward to reading it.

But I think that we can apply the lessons of other wars and other leaders to this one also and remember that the hatred for this president has been so vitriol and overwhelming that many think that he is wrong in his attempts to keep us safe. Our safety that is from a group of people who another president (remember that disgusting little man Carter) caused them to hate us, was the worst president in our history, had done more damage to the US in foreign relations than any other president, failed to fulfill his obligation to the country and the constitution by declaring war against Iran and dismantled our ability to defend ourselves by any means – internal coups, torture, assassination, etc…

Because of him, not Bush, we pay with lives of our soldiers or citizens in wars and attacks but could have used covert means of control, liquidation and protection that could have been used without the cost of 11000 lives. I blame Bush for the inability to protect the American way of life, to protect our borders, to protect the very basis of our constitution but I can not bring myself to blame him for the death of one American soldier or citizen by the hands of any terrorist – that blame lies solely with Carter.

AND yes I will read the book with an open mind and thank you for post to remind me to do so.
