Layout hunts

I will be doing a bit of layoutshooting in mid-to-late November. Any other "Downriver Rats" want to come along? My tender is a bit small so a 16-18 foot boat would help but we can work around that on a nice day. No experiance needed, newbies welcome. Layoutshooter

I am just north of you at the Detroiter. I would love to stop and check out the area but I need to get home to my lake and get my boats out of the water before they get frozen in again. You can stop in anytime if in the area and I am home. If you ever have seen the TV show "Fishing With Joe Bucher" , that is where I live.

I went to Cabelas in Rapid City....just need my DL and "proof" of residence...like 3 months..telephone or hydro bill....

He showed me what looked to be nice a 22 LR with a bolt action...he says the single shot is not going to be sold there much longer....ammo was like 15 bucks for a box of 550 shells.
189.00$$ ???

What make and model? Are you interested in a single shot or something with a magizine? One thing I like about the .22 is the cheap ammo. Layoutshooter

The sales guy said the single shot 22 LR is NOT going to be carried....he showed me the difference..I like the magazine bolt type....can't remember model or name...

wifes buying a hand gun....she had 2 before and gave them to her sons when she moved to Canada

I would suggest the magazine model as well. It is most likely that particular model being dis-continued. I can not see single shots ever being out of production. Which model did you like better? Layoutshooter

I like the magazine and bolt action as opposed to the single shot.....
