Layin up at home... WHAT A &%*#@ BAD IDEA

Here we sit... At home, in Detroit... gimme something to run for!!!

I realise that expediting is a hit or miss prospect at times, but there is a time when I start to grow restless. I can't even go home out of fear that we will get the call and have to turn around and hit it. I think I've worn a hole in the seat from sitting on it so long. I'm out of coffee and it's friggin cold. Oh well, we sit and watch the emails and countdown until we can stop hoping...

Keep your chins up chaps, we'll get thru it afterall!!!

Critter,

Okay, I don't think staying at home is technically "layover" - but I know it isn't great when you are ready to hit the open highway and make some money.

Critter, maybe you're getting a little too wrapped up in your job if you consider being home a layover. Relax and enjoy it!!

I'm feeling your pain. I sat at the Detroiter for two days and gave up. I commited to a bunch of honey do jobs and headed home. Yup, now I'm getting the load offers.

By the way Highwaystar if you have to ask what a mojo is you don't have one.:7 :7 :7

Hotone... I'd rather slit my wrists, thank you. Hope you guys had a good celebration knowing that you were handed a SB. Probably not the kind of party I would've wanted to attend knowing my team was a non-deserving champion. :7

Can't say I blame the Stealers tho... unless some dressed up in black and white stripes. This falls on the NFL, cut and dry. So, if we meet in XLI, don't count on help from the refs. You know about lightning striking twice in the same place.

i live in ionia michigan and at my house i sit on 3 boards, grand rapids, lansing and battle creek....this past year i have never ever been more then 4th out.. here i am sitting at home with a ninth out....unfortunatly i have turned down a couple loads this week, deadhead 62 miles to run a load 36 miles. then i would have to dead head about 60 miles on a reposition, so i turned them down...however after being a driver for a year, and getting used to being away from home, i am ready to get out for a week....i never thought i would go stir crazy sitting at home with all of the modern conveniences such as computer, tv, heat etc. etc..and i wanna jump in my van, drive, freeze at night, man there must be something wrong with me..
