I'm kind of surprised this didn't show up this week.
Pray for the families of those that died.
The guy with the concealed carry is dead because he had the piece.
Otherwise he would have escaped with the others.
Hummmmmmmmm. Funny how those who don't believe in the chance to protect one's self seem to ONLY find stories where the attempt to protect themselves failed. What about the 10's of thousands events where it works for those who choose to defend themselves? Like this one:

I don't know why, some would say it's because it gives you a "woody".
It does not make one "invincible", it only gives one a chance. A chance one would NOT have if they chose to be a victim.
That's the exact opposite of what happened, though.
Yep, and many time it has. NOT being armed allows for NO chance.
12 million unarmed died in Nazi Germany
20 million unarmed died in Soviet Russia
Unfortunately, that list is never ending. What has happened in the past, will happen again, of that there is NO doubt.
THAT is why we have armed citizens, to give us a chance, when, not if, our own government goes that route, as all have in history have done, and those that have not yet, will. When, not if, an individual is faced with a criminal, at home, on the street, where ever. Very few, if any, will lead a full life without it being touched by crime.
Uhm, except for this instance where NOT and NO is the exact opposite.

Well, it ties in. They left a swastika at the initial crime scene.
What's impressive is how many are willing to forget, and dismiss it. Even more impressive how many use facing the reality of what Man can do to Man as a means of ridicule.
There are MANY kinds of fools. Those who either learned nothing, or choose to believe that what has taken place before, can never happen again. There has not been a century, in Man's past, where a "Hitler" or a "Jackson" has not practiced their trade, this century will be no different.
There are those who spout "crap", like the idea of self defense requires a "woodie.
There are those who spout "crap" like have a CPL, and carrying, makes one immune to "danger".
It is all the spouting of "crap" that is preventing reality from taking hold.
The "Hitler" type is alive and well today, as is the "Stalin" type, the "Jackson" type as well. NO government is beyond that type of thing.
The "Thugs" have control of many of the streets in the US today, of that there is NO doubt. It is almost a given that anyone alive today will face them at one point or another, if they have not already.
IF you can prove ANY part of what I just wrote, try. It cannot be done, because it is fact.
The victim mentality sucks. Just stand back, do nothing, prepare for nothing, and take what comes your way, is just plain STUPID. Will planning and preparation prevent, with 100% certainty, every thing bad from happening? Nope. Will doing nothing insure that if, and when, something bad does happen that one will be able to do NOTHING? Yep. It's an individual choice. My wife and I have made our choices, you can do as you choose. Just as it is your right to choose not to defend yourself, or to defend yourself, so is it ours. We do so for what ever reasons we believe are right, based on our experiences and education, as do you. How about a deal, you respect our decisions, and I will respect yours. Your experiences, your education, is not the same as others, it is not any better, or worse, just different.
