We found another great place to hang out while in Las Vegas. The South Point Casino on the south side of Las Vegas right beside I-5 has a couple of arenas.
There is a vacant lot across from the Casino and I saw a few tractor trailers parked in this area with room to spare. Many of the events in the arenas are free.
We attended a cutting horse futurity while we were there for a few hours. We have to be back in Las Vegas the weekend before October 24th as our daughter is having surgery. We will then attend the California Saddle Horse Breeders' Association Futurity Horse Show October 21 - 23 • Arena • Free to the Public 11:00am Daily.
Bob really does not care for horses BUT this casino has a very nice bowling alley as well as theaters.
