What a bummer, so sorry for the bad timming. Holiday weekend. If you need anything that I can get for you in Charlotte, I am taking a Bike Ride up the Blue Ridge tommorow, I could bring you a part. I will private e mail you my phone #.

On to the next point, I have purchased those new Micro Filters thus no more regular oil changes just the micro filter and send in a little oil for testing. They inform me when the oil needs to be changed I guess around every 100K for a big truck. Plus it gives you a break down of what metal deposites are in the oil for either bearing replacements, or what ever else is wrong inside of there and fix it before it causes all kinds of havoc.

Seriously people this saves about 2K a year for an investment of about $600.00. Getting it installed Tuesday AM.

Once I run with it for a while I will post again. Does not void warranty if the oil measures high quality. These filters do a far better job than the Original Equipment Filters would.

But if it did, than I would change the oil as requested knowing that this fluid is being cleaned to brand new every day.

I am no expert, but what kills oil quality is the soot from the exhaust this seperates that thus keeping it like new. The tests will prove that and should also see a noticable difference on the dip stick.

I have had a Harvard bypass filter for two an a half years now and have changed the oil once in that time,I get the truck serviced at speedco and have the oil analyzed every 10,000 miles all the numbers have looked good. it has saved me a lot of money to spend on other aspects of my trucking habit. seriously I think this is the best investment I have made for the truck
