When does a thread get pulled? This TSES & Panther thread is now so far off field, it almost has no relevance any more.

It don't matter if it went off on a tangent that ended up having nothing to do with the original intent of the thread, it was all speculation anyway and a lot of fun to read.

Threads are like conversations in slow motion - if we were screenwriters, they'd be focused, and tight, with nary a wasted word. But we're just folks, and our conversations wander all over the map sometimes, changing direction more often than a lost driver...
