i was bored today so i took all my fuel receipts and made sure i had enterred them correctly and divided. after 18,000 miles(where DID they go) this truck is averaging 11.5mpg!! since nov 14th i have only run at legal speed for a couple weeks before going back to 62 mph. i am stunned. that it is true and that when i read in the classifieds ...this truck gets 8.5 to 11.5 that it is entirely posible when you manage your speed.
i have run the tach up to 2000 and a little beyond and have started progressive shifting aro 1500 instead. the truck pulls fine. okay it takes a little longer to get up the ramp. i can live with that.
makes me wonder how good the super truckers could do if they tried.
