  1. a holiday celebrated on June 19 to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US. The holiday was first celebrated in Texas, where on that date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, enslaved people were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation.
Im looking forward to this holiday, whoops,,everyday is a holiday when one is retired ..lol pour me a cup of joe.....

I wonder what the flags look like for all the other federal holidays.

Should i look for more?
Yes, but if, and ONLY if you can find an official Juneteenth flag there at that same flagsrus.org website.

Otherwise, thank you for playing. Biff has some nice parting gifts for you. I believe among today's gifts are a nice Liberal Tears insulated mug, and a Snark Kazoo.

Does it really matter where i find flags???

The bottom line is, holidays have flags, there just seems to be an issue with this one. Guess it should have been expected.

Not if they're official flags, no, because they're going to look the same no matter where you find them.

No, they don't. We only have one federal holiday that, for some unexplained reason, warrants its own flag.

Yeah, there is an issue with this one. Why does this new federal holiday, that 5 years ago 81% of people outside of Texas had never heard of (according to PBS and Gallup), be the single federal holiday with an official flag? What makes this federal holiday so special, as opposed to, say, Independence Day, or Thanksgiving?
