I would not worry about that for a second. If they cannot float a couple of weeks, they are certainly more heartburn than value to your company.

The result of global warming to be sure!! It is VERY dry here. Lots of fires. This year reminds me of spring of 1973. It was VERY dry in Florida that year too. I spent most of six weeks on the fire line that spring. MMMM, part of a cycle? NAW! Can't be! Fire based ecosystems that burn normally every 25-40 years would not be burning now! :rolleyes:

So nothing happened today and I ended up dh'n down to the Toledo J. nice showers and a quiet parking lot so I can sleep tonight. I get here and evening dispatch calls me with a load picking up in Cleveland at 8am saying they were willing to pay me 1$ a mile for all miles to Freemont, Ohio. They ended up calling me back 5 minutes later and informed me that the load cancelled. What a bummer:( . So here I sit #1 since yesterday at 5:30pm. Hopefully something will pan out tomorrow.:cool: Never believe a night dispatcher when they say they'll get ya out tonight with another load!! LOL

So did I. Lived in Floral City, then Inverness off of Trail X (10) about a half a mile before you get to the Withlacoochie St. Park turn right on Plumtree, watch the roots on drive then end up on Archer in front of my driveway. On another note. Finally got a load from Elyria, OH back down to Greenville, NC.

It's been a good week this week. 2400 loaded miles at 92 cents per mile. Not too bad for the way things are right now. Headed to Laredo 1050 miles for tomorrow afternoon!! I am going to get a room or jusr book it to Kansas City, MO, we'll see what happens tomorrow!

OVM wish my internet moduim hadn't crapped out yesterday morning ( WEDS ) i would have met you in waterloo for breakfast. Got new one nexted day this afternoon. Got my new ( to me ) ride just need to finalize other things on company . later

Sitting in Piedmont, SC. Took myself off the board last night to get a sleep after running 1200 miles in the 24 hrs before that.

Jackson, GA Flying J. Been to Cleveland -> Boston -> N. Andover, MA -> Thomaston, GA -> Naples, FL...a day off for the Everglades, Key West...back I/S, went swimming in the Atlantic at Miami while waiting for a run -> Tampa and now Jackson, GA.
