Today is June 6th.

D-Day.

I am urging each and every one of us, to put aside the petty differences we may have with each other, and say a prayer for "The Greatest Generation".

Without their bravery and sacrafice, we would not be able to have what we have today.

God Bless them, and God Bless America.

I will second that but with an additional comment ....

A prayer to ALL the brave men of D-Day from whatever Country, that we now know as the Greatest Generation.

The people no matter where they came from gave everything within them...some gave their lives, so that we can have what we have today..God Bless Them..

To think that what they fought for us to keep, is today being destroyed...from within...

I do believe that 'ole "Rockin Ronnie" really did have a lot of respect for our troops.

I cannot imagine what is was like for those men that hit that beach on D-Day, or on any of the OTHER D-Days in the Pacific. There were far more assaults like this one in the Pacific than in th European Theater. All hard, all cost thousands of lives.

Ronald Reagan on the 40th anniversary of D-Day......I love the honor this man held for our troops and the sacrifices made that day and all others.

I still get goose bumps listing to that speech.
