I use #6 welder cable to connect primary battery to my auxiliary batteries in the rear of van. very flexible and cheaper than $3 per foot when I bought 4 years ago; don't remember exact price. Might be worth checking out.

I'M NO ELECTRICIAN BUT I'VE HEARD THAT THE POWER WILL DISSIPATE OVER DISTANCE AND THE THICKNESS OF THE CONDUCTOR ALSO WILL CAUSE POWER TO DISSIPATE WHICH MAKES LONG WELDING CABLES IMPRACTICAL, I WAS A FITTER/WELDER FOR MANY YEARS AND WAS ALWAYS TEMPTED TO GET SOME KILLER 100 FT. JUMPER CABLES BUT WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE ALL THE POWER FROM THE SOURCE JUST TO POWER THE CABLES AND THAT THERE WOULDN'T BE ANY THING LEFT BY THE TIME IT GOT TO BATTERY THAT NEEDED THE JUMP.

THIS BRINGS UP A QUESTION OF MY OWN! COULD YOU CHARGE YOUR OWN BATTERIES OR AT LEAST MAINTAIN THE CHARGE YOU HAVE IN THE BATTERIES BY RUNNING A BATTERY CHARGER OFF YOUR INVERTER FOR EXTENDED PERIODS? I GUESS IT WOULD DEPEND ON THE DRAW ON YOUR BATTERIES VERSES THE AMOUNT OF CHARGE YOUR BATTERIES ARE ABLE TO RECEIVE? JUST A THOUGHT! BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS WORTH ASKING, AND THAT WOULD BE WITHOUT 110 VOLT APPLIANCES RUNNING BECAUSE IT SEEMS THE MORE POWER YOUR INVERTER HAS TO PUT OUT THE MORE THE DRAIN IS ON THE BATTERIES, AND A TRUCK WITH AN INVERTER LEFT ON FOR AN EXTENDED TIME (WITHOUT THE TRUCK BEING RAN)SEEMS TO BE THE CAUSE OF A LOT OF DEAD BATTERIES, ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS?

BE CAREFULL OUT THERE!

i'm not a mech, i just operate and break thing's
so asked more questions and found out that most jumper cables are for 600 hundred cold cranking amp or so to jump something you should have
right size jumper cables to jump start what ever size you are going to jump, most battries that i have had have been 3 900 cold cranking amp battries so you would need something that would handle that much power
also most cables would be in 16 to 25 ft range,
