Rough night last night. I haven't been that sick in a long time. I don't know what I ate, but it got the best of me. But... delivery made on time this morning! Now heading to a shorty, Saginaw to Lansing.

Howdy gang...seems like I'm the 'Once a month' poster, here. Had a decent June (Minus the breakdown), and hoping July yields some decent results.

I'm seriously contemplating moving to an under CDL straight truck...yes I'll have the hassle of logs and scales again, but I will be able to generate more revenue...prolly have to sell the Sprinter to help offset the down payment / monthly payment. Something I'm kicking around in my head...may not even happen till next year.

Anywho, I'm at home after an awesome weekend, waiting on the call to get the heck outta here. Hope you all enjoy your day! Shiny side up, greasy side down.

I need to ask this.......How would you be able to generate more revenue with a truck that would not be able to haul as much weight because of it's lower GVW?.....parts and repairs would be the same, cost of ownership, etc, ins, plates may be a little cheaper, but so, where is the advantage?

Not sure what you are using, but you might want to add one coat of Minwax Polycrylic to that, or just one coat of acrylic. It'll add a lot of hardness to it. The polyurethane will protect it well, especially good for oil spills and stuff, and will keep the freight from sliding around. Adding acrylic, especially the Polycrylic, will do the same thing, but will add some toughness to it. If Polycrylic is what you used, well, never mind. :D

The spray cans have a benefit. It gives everything inside the van a nice protective coating.

About once or twice a year I give the deck a good scrubbing and then add two coats of Polycrylic.

Yeah, I really wanted to go with the Minwax Polycrylic and was, until I found out I used the only stain that minwax makes that is not compatible with it  So by default I had to go with their polyurethane.

Although, now I'm wondering if I can put the Polycrylic over the urethane since it's not in direct contact with the stain now

The truth of it is that the McDonald's fish sandwich has become so small, the size of the fish itself, it appears to be a Guppy lost in a sea of bun...drowning...And for what they charge? Arby's has an awesome fish sandwich, usually during the Easter season, that is out of this world..The only thing I do at McDonald's is their breakfast, and chicken mcnuggets.....I don't like hamburgers of any kind..as well as condiments of any kind...

Went to Five Guys when I was at the yard Sunday. I love me some Five Guys! Their burgers are great and their fries are the best fresh cut fries I've had.

Yeah, you can. That's what I did when I stained and coated the deck at the back of the house.

I hate to say this but McDonalds is about the safest thing to eat. Unless a store mishandles food, the manufacturers are held to very high standards. They know a small mistake can sicken tens of thousands so fast and the liability would be huge. While I love and prefer a local bar burger, I am sure the health standards are no where near as close.

Sounds just as bad as one who vegitates in front of a computer while waiting for a load instead of getting outside and doing things to get that heart rate up and circulation going.
