According to Briggs, the comments box can't be read at their end.
I wonder if it's occurred to anyone to make the comments box readable on their end, or, failing that, remove it from ours.

As for email management software, it should be easy enough to write filters, if the mail server allows it, to route keywords in the subject to different e-mail boxes. But in any case, it seems that the creation of specific e-mail aliases should be done. Like, as has been mentioned, customs@load1.

But also, instead of sending e-mails to individuals, like Tim or Angie, create aliases for tolls@load1, monthlymaint@load1, that point to the correct person's e-mail box. That way if the person in that position changes, the e-mail address stays the same. (And then when that person's e-mail changes, all IT has to do is change the pointer for the alias, instead of everyone in the fleet having to change their e-mail address for tolls or maintenance reports, etc.)

Also, if expedite@load1 is more for customers than for operations issues (contrary to the information in the Stickie at the top of the forum), then the logical solution would be to create an e-mail specifically for operations issues, like ExpDispatch@load1 or something like that, so that everyone in dispatch knows that anything in there is from a driver not a customer.

Once the e-mail boxes are set up, then it shouldn't be too much trouble to add those to the drop-downs in the QC.

And while I'm thinking about it, there should be an "other" option in the drop-down that will then give us a blank field where we can type in a specific individual's e-mail address to have the scans sent.

Lots of ideas. Clearly, I've been hanging around OVM too much.

Did the ladder fall over  Should we call someone :p

The ladder didn't fall over this time. Thanks for the concern. I usually just lean the ladder against the van, so it can't tip over. I just have to remember not to back over it when I lean it against the back door.

Will be up on the roof tomorrow. Maybe I'll give that a try. I've been trying to figure out the best way to get up there without triggering my fear of heights

----Stained the home front porch, hopefully dries before any rain starts.
----Added the 1st of two more coats of polyurethane to the sprinter wood floor. I think I'm obsessed with it :p

I know the feeling about obsession...lol....had the van washed Sunday, and replaced the idle air control valve.A 40.00 part at Autozone. It was idling funny, problem solved.painted the front bumper and the light panels below the doors. touched up any chips, etc on the white parts of the van. Time to cool off for awile. Then do the blue parts and the the black parts. The more I do while sitting, the less I have to do when I go home. Then when I go home it is time to replace the back rotors, pads and seals. Then plugs, fuel filter, and change the oil. Then replace all of the hoses, antifreeze, and belt. Remove the radiator and flush and clean it, along with the 3 other coolers up front. All parts are ordered from Ford and came in....Gotta make sure it doesn't break down because of something stupid...Oh yea- front ABS sensor...

Are you kidding me? A payment? A new one? A used one with someone else's problems? No way! Mine hasn't broke down yet, and is ultra dependable.Cheap to operate and maintain. You must be thinking this cost in terms of Sprinter parts costs....it was like $600.00 bucks for all of that..Not bad, from the dealer...Besides, It looks good as new. No reason at 300k to get rid of it...it runs like a scalded chicken....Found out the other day from the dealer when ordering this stuff from me giving them the vin # that it actually, for some strange reason, has a rear end and suspension from a 14,500# gvw setup from the factory..he thinks it was special ordered that way..must explain the rough ride and the fact it only squatted 1.5 inches in the rear with a 3,000# skid on the tail end....9 leaf springs per side in the back...everything I am doing is preventative maintenance...that's all...

No problems, Mate! Just original things with the exception of the plugs and rear pads...Not one to let or wait for parts to fail....I'd rather have the peace of mind knowing everything is good to go.My Ford Senior Master Mechanic will also go over it with a fine tooth comb to make sure any and everything is kopastetic.....

Yup, thinking in Sprinter terms haha. $600 can get us some coffee and a smile at the dealer :p

Why do some forget they are driving a Mercedes ?.,.. A company right up there with Jag and few other luxury vehicles....I almost shudder to think of the cost to replace water pump on the Jag!! Arrrrg
Then the bumped up prices of a Mustang or camero...
