The difference between unmarked vs. marked expeditors....

So I go to the pickup to get my load this morning.....someone's house.....I park in the street, figuring he wouldn't have any paperwork, filled out a Load One B.O.L., brought my load info and proceeded to the front door..

To make a long story short, we get done putting the freight in the back of the van, and he thanks me for being so professional and prepared. I thank him, and tell him it's part of the job...he asks what the keyboard is for..(The qualcomm) and I show him what it does, how it tracks the van, etc.....

He than proceeded to tell me he turned one guy away that showed up to pick up the shipment in a plain van, stinky, etc, and he didn't feel comfortable sending his product with someone that appeared to be without credentials...no markings...

He once again thanked me and away I went thinking how being with a company that has it's markings on my van has it's huge advantages...along with a qualcomm...

At home, for a working vacation. Have a few projects for the sprinter lined up. If i don't fall off the roof of it, that will be a bonus

Been that way here for two weeks. 40 percent chance of storms seems to be our constant weather.

You generally get a lot more rain than we do out here..haven't had a drop since June 23rd when it poured on the all school reunion. So it's pretty refreshing when it storms out here. :)

Click the link, read the question, read the reply.

It should be noted that the reply applies not only to FECC, but also to Panther and to every other carrier I know of, save one, where the drivers legibly scan their paperwork directly into the system.

Sooo, I'm just sayin'..... :D
