Jobs in Florida?

My wife and I are thinking of moving to Port St Lucie Florida after school lets out this year. I have a class A CDL and currently drive a tractor-trailer for a non-expedite company that is only regional so I would have to find a new company if we move. Was really wondering how freight was in florida for expediting. I have been considering buying my own truck/van but not sure. I know I can be succesfull because I am very business savvy, it is just a matter of being able to get start up funds saved at my current job. Anyone on here need a driver in florida or know any companies that i should look into for that area? Any suggestions or information would be appreciated. Thanks for anybody's responses. Florida sucks when it comes to trucking - especialy expediting. I drive a lot around and yoy do not see a lot of expeditors around here.

lots of stories about going to fla and deadheading to atlanta, me included. vero beach was warm in july.

There's no jobs in the area I'm in.....I was seriously considering converting my van to haul senior citizens....lol. I've already looked around. Believe me.....
