Jack Berry, Lucky Charm

Mrs. Layoutshooter and I were having our free grand slam at the Denny's near the "J" in Haubstadt IN when I saw a "Bolt" van pull in. As I often do I went to say Hi to a fellow "Road Warrior". Low and behold it was Jack Berry!! We had a very pleasent conversation while he waited on his freebie. We shook hands as we left for our pick up and as a reslut of that handshake we got a pre-dispatch withing minutes of picking up that load!!! SSOOOOOO, if you run into Jack be sure to shake hands with him, he is good luck!!!! It is always fun to run into fellow E.O. members. It does not happen often. Maybe we need a secret sign so we could recognize each other in the truck stops.

I wil put it on my list of things to do to get a load,See a movie,get a rm,get trk serviced while in service,and shake hands with eo member.

Maybe an EO ball cap. It wouldn't be secret but you could sure spot a member in a crowd.
I have seen trucks in the parking lot that I recognized from EO but was unable to locate the drivers. They tend to blend in with those "other" truck drivers.

Dxxx it! We missed our free breakfast. We did get our free xmas eve dinner at the J though.

The all time best ever typo was one that actually caused me to change my diet for the better, lol: Broompilot was apparently trying to combine the two common spellings of doughnut, and ended up with 'dognuts'.
I don't believe I'll ever be able to eat one again.

i can see dr johnny fever, leaning in low to his microphone, the format change has not happened yet and the little old ladies are still listening and after doing the obituaries gets the hi sign from andy and he leans back and says dooooooggnuts!! into the mike. beutiful.


i really am not much of a lucky charm or even charming. i am still near dennys.
