It's time for the Monroe County Chapter of Ducks Unlimited spring fund raising dinner. We have a few seats left for sale if anyone wants one! It is a GREAT time with good food and LOTS of "stuff" to win. On top of that you would have a chance to meet not, one, but TWO, EO residents who are members of the chapter. Buy TWO tickets and we will BOTH autograph your programs for you, for an additional donation to the ducks of course!

Just drove down there and dropped off Donations that I have collected to date..
Back to begging for more..
Great chances at winning some really nice stuff (including guns) coming out of the Banquet,,Good food, Games/Raffles. Even some of the Art work and prints are worth the trip. Great chance to see what this Chapter is about and all their hard work..I know it hooked me seeing what these folks are getting done with their hard work.

Just a few "highlights" on what the Monroe Chapter of Ducks Unlimited has done lately.


Monroe County has a record breaking 35 Major Donor Life Sponsors pledging $650,000 toward wetland restoration and conservation projects.
The chapter has raised nearly $400,000 in the past five years restoring 6,677 acres of wetlands over 36 projects in Monroe County including:
Dusseau Project in the Erie State Game Area
Pt. Aux Peaux Restoration Project
Sterling State Park
Erie Marsh Preserve – Phase I Project
Brancheau Restoration Project in the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge
Several projects in the Pt. Mouilee State Game Area

Current ongoing projects in Monroe County include:
Ford Marsh Restoration Project
Fix Unit – Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge
Blanchett Unit of the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge
Pt. Mouillee State Game Area, Bad Creek Unit
Erie Marsh Preserve , Phase II

E-Mail Last night states the event is Sold-out..2 weeks ahead of schedule. With a limited amount of tickets on reserve of some sort.. I may have a few seats avaible but not sure yet..Have a hard time getting a few people to confirm they will be coming. Ill give them untill this weekend then Im going to try to fill those seats..
