I sure hope Panther offers some official recognition to this driver for the wonderful shine he added to their public reputation! [I trust the police will add their own recognition for the heroic behavior.]
A nice reminder of how GOOD regular people are, really, when they have a chance.
PS I know it's a different state, but I also hope that lady takes the SC sheriff's advice and gets herself a weapon, and the training to use it properly, in case the lunatic comes after her again - might not be a trucker handy, next time.

Panther is used to it. This is one of my teams, recognized in 2008 for pulling a driver out of his burning truck just 30 to 60 seconds before it would have been too late according to the doctors who treated the man.
