Of course not. It is a comedy bit done specifically for entertainment and it is highly edited.
Why does it matter?
The overall concept of ignorance in America matters because when people can't think for themselves they rely on television, radio and Internet commentaries to give them the answers.

Alex Jones has a guy who goes out and has people sign petitions for crazy stuff. Like "Door to door gun confiscations"
"Give Obama Dictatorial Powers" etc. The guy plays it straight explains in detail what the petitions are for and 9 out of ten people will sign. They claim they aren't editing the audio, basically the US people are Sheeple.

Alex Jones cracks me up. I'm pretty sure a lot of the stuff you hear on his show is made up by wackadoodles but that is some darn fine entertainment....

I used to think A Jones was nutz too. The first video I sawof his he was talking about how a bunch of guys called "The Project For a New American Century" were going to stae terror attacks as an excuse to reshape the military and eliminate civil rights.
I read the PNAC papers and thought A Jones is reading too much into this he's crazy. Well guess what happened when the PNAC guys got into the Whitehouse?
I no longer think He's Crazy he's a prophet.
If you can't see somethin.g is seriously rotten in DC it because you don't want to see it.

AJ's largest problem is the drive for revenue, along with sensationalism, which drives the revenue.
He's no more a blowhard than Rush L, Hannity, or that total insider useful idiot, OReilly.
The difference being....AJ has the facts on his side, and generates his own revenue (whether one agrees with the delivery, or no)
The others are PAID shills for the establishment and misdirect at every opportunity. Don't listen to any of them, but if you back AJ off a little bit, he does present provable fact, while the others toe the cooperate/government/party line.

During the last presidential primary season, Rush was away from the mic for a few days and had guest hosts. One day, the producer told the guest host it was time to insult Ron Paul. The guest host didn't understand and also didn't understand he wasn't supposed to make it known that the producer was telling him this. So he did. Direction goes out from the RNC, and the paid shills, Rush, Hannity, and Beck hit the talking points they've been given.

How does that in anyway prove they are paid? Not saying I'm a fan of any of them but like AJ your throwing stuff out with no real evidence.

The way you wrote in your first post calling them paid shills seemed to insinuate they are paid by campaigns or parties. Of course at fox they are paid by the network.
Most of what I have heard aj say are write is not real proof more insulations that point to what he wants people to believe. Of course he makes as many as he does a few will be right. All this is why I basically have checked out from news and politicics they all have an agenda.
