Veteran Expediter
I have brought this up before without success but do wish to run it up the pole one more time.
I know many folks do not have the CB on due to what it has become and I do understand. I would like to say it would be helpful in heavy traffic for folks to have these on as many times traffic is actually directed among trucks by OZ, the trucker somewhere who sees all. He or she tends to direct folks one at a time into the next lane and so on. I have found it very useful as you funnel down from many lanes to one etc.
Recently I have come across this on I75 due to a detour and all runs very smooth up until the two Expediters that do not have the radio on and do not follow the flow. It simply causes more hickups in the jam. Get through the mess then turn it off.
By the way if you do turn it on, remember what you are driving and or what the name on the side is. That is how Oz will call you out. Try it sometime you will be amazed how well truckers work together for that short period of time. If not well enjoy the sit but please do it to the far right so I can keep moving. Thanks.
I apoligize if anything in this POST was spelled wrong, if I used too many paragraphs or improper english or grammer. I only know math and map reading. Street Smarts. Ha! I kill me
