There it is....what now?.....
Does the right to self determination to a sovereign country still exist equally? or only to the countries we like?....

Ahmadinejad: Iran won't retreat from nuclear path - Yahoo! News

Amazing how "selective" we are who has rights and who does not...

Iran won't retreat "one iota" from its nuclear program, but the world is being misled by claims that it seeks atomic weapons, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Wednesday in his first reaction since a U.N. watchdog report that Tehran is on the brink of developing a nuclear warhead.

Well Obama is trying to be a buddy to Amadi??? and Iran so nothings going to happen until we get rid of Obama and by that time it will probably be to late. The next time the creap comes to New York he could have an accident or something. Everything usually happens in New York so it wouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Happen. OB won't do anything about Iran and the nukes. Isreal will. About 5 years ago when this flared up they tried to get support from Bush. They wanted aerial refueling capabilities. We did not want to get involved because of the flight over Iraq. So Isreal bought 5 KC-135 boeing tankers that were delivered this year. Now they can do it w/out us and with us pulling out of Iraq they have a clear shot at them (other than Jordan). So I will predict that come Jan or Feb Isreal will strike. That's just my guess. Also the reasoning about Jan and Feb is the elections in the final year and it's no secret that Isreal does not like OB so if it fails they can blame him for lack of support and he will loose the Jewish vote. This all is just my thinking nothing else.;)

Israel bombed the IRAQI nuke program years ago and the world did not come to an end...
I think Israel should do what they think best for them and we should stay neutral...completely neutral...

I agree. The problem is that Iran won't believe we are nuetral, doesn't matter what happens. Our CIA has been killing some of there scientists the last couple of years along with the computer virous system we have in place to jam their nukes computers. We stopped them and started a melt down last year but they caught it in time, but our people are on it daily. The biggest problem is Russia helping them.

Do you think that this:

.... might have anything to do with this:

But I submit:....

Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you'll understand what little chance you have in trying to change others.

Wow Rlent, asking for help?

You feeling ok?

With that said, many of you don't get it.

We can't go and do anything preemptive unless we have China and Russia agreeing to it - period. France and Germany (who happen to be part of Nato) will more or less refuse to get involved because EU oil isn't involved.

Turkey has already said "you know ... we went along with Libya and now we are not quite sure we want to get involved with anything else right now so we are going to wait"

Israel has also come out and said an amazing thing "we think that if anything happens with Iran, the US should be in the lead" which indicates to me that they abandoned their strike first position that was started with Begin and went to a more harmonized position that we, the US, should be the lead on everything. This isn't because of Obama but because of the change in direction that Israel has taken in the past couple of years.

Maybe they are tired of fighting, I don't know but I would venture to guess if we are going to start a major operation with Iran, we need to leave Afghanistan months before, get out of other parts of the world, like Korea and focus on Iran with a goal of not just toppling the government but wiping out everyone there.

No matter what, we can't be the world's police force and keep trying to keep the peace while digging ourselves into more of a hole on both fronts, domestic and international.
