You can hang around Home Depot or Lowe's and use their wifi.

Virgin Mobile has nice plans and is no contract, owned by sprint

Or like FlyingVan says, there other places too, that have free wifi ( like fast food places, service plazas, library's etc... ) some may run u off at awhile
