I'm not sure you're asking the right question. All the expediting companies I have heard about seem to do a good business OUT of Chicagoland. The real question, who can most likely get you back there when you're ready to go home.
Murphy's Law pretty well dictates that when you get ready to run home, all the freight is going the other way. Except Chicago. We've been paid to deadhead there because they needed truck's badly. We have never sat in Chicago without getting load offers the same day. We even delivered to Midway and had a load out 2 miles away the same day. Of course, that's with FedEx CC and you didn't ask about them.
