Northeast Ohio, there is a chain of stores called Marc's. Any Marc's is a good place to shop for household (truckhold?) necessities, groceries, etc, but the best thing is the area called Aisle 1. It's about a quarter of the store, where you might find anything from kitsch to useful stuff, to plasma tv's - it's always different. The thing that makes Marc's better than the competition, is that companies who don't sell to outlet stores will sell to Marc Glassman - and he is content with a reasonable profit. This means you can find great bargains, and there is parking for every size truck, too.
I don't know how far the chain has spread, but I know that the first store, in Middleburg Hts, (SW of Cleveland), at West 130 & Pearl (Rt 42), is the best - if there's only enough for one store, that's where it goes. It's also where the beautiful Cockatoos & Macaws reside, which are Marc Glassman's, & not for sale.
So, what's in your neighborhood, that I don't know about?
