Thank goodness they have among the most restrictive gun laws anywhere or they might have had a lot of shootings.

The numbers are misleading. The 4th of July weekend was a long, 4 day weekend. I'm sure on a normal 2 day weekend there would have only been about 36 shootings resulting in approximately 6 deaths.
