I really do like running in Texas, when running team. but as a solo there is just to much down time.
I was stationed at Fort Hood for 16 months back in the day and loved it. Could tell almost as many "war" stories as I could about Korea. And given enough beer could tell more. As my uncle said along time ago, " The stories don't have to be true, just have to be good.

Karin is on a lond deserved vacation, after nine years of not seeing her parents, we decided she should get over and see them b-4 she got one of "those" calls form her brothers. So off she went for a three month vacation to Germany. With a return date of 7 May, just a few days b-4 our 28th aniversary. By the way her parents living so far away is one of the reasons we are still married and I'm not in jail

Thursday night we had a wave pool going on here at the "J". I got down here just as the downpour hit and in effect closed up I-35.
I was kinda hoping to hit a run out of here for the end of the qtr. seeing how it was also a weekend, but no such luck. I will start heading back to the freight tonight.
Got to be home for friday's Cincinnati's game. My daughters both live in Cincinnati and came up with tickets. I will get a ride down with one of my daughter's friend, so it looks like a few beers at the game will be in order.
Might talk her into taking me out Friday night, it's great to have a good relationship with the kids and there friends, (thy are alot more fun than my Friends)
