Great Article, thanks for sharing this. Comment, is'nt 7 years a bit of overation. I have a great deal of respect for these construction workers, but seven years points left on a drivers license over kill?
I do not know of a single state that holds Reckless driving points for more than 3 years.
The State of Ill hates trucks, truck drivers and anything to do with trucks except of course taxing them.
Be carefull when driving in this state what they are doing to us and our industry should be a crime. How and who can should we be complaining to? Destroy an honest hard working truck drivers career, and he has to be replaced by an inexpierenced driver, who would you rather ride with????

When enough drivers refuse to service loads to or through Illinois perhaps they will get the message. Considering they're the idiot state that brought Morton Grove onto the scene they deserve whatever refusals they get. This is just another reinforcement of my decision not to go near Chicago and perhaps expand it to all of Illinois.
