Illegals should have right to vote

Might need future votes? Go to Mexico & Latin America. We shouldn't act surprised. We even pay and advertise for them to come here. Traditional democrats aren't reliable anymore.

Seriously: how does anyone that stupid get elected? The citizens he represents [I mean the real ones] should recall that idiot, pronto.
We are a nation of laws, and if one cannot respect that, they are not [and should not be] welcome here.

I did see a report on how many illegal alians get here, which was quite saddening. This dose not excuse butting in line with those going through the correct process. What complicates the issue is people born on US soil default to US citizenship.

In my opininion, illigal alians that are working should be required to apply for work visas, be taxed like everyone else, not be eliable for public assistance, pay a small penalty tax over time to cover the fine for breaking the law, and be elegible to purchase health insurance with out subsaties. Then they can apply for citizenship once the fine is paid.

Or perhaps they can't be rewarded for breaking the law at all. Perhaps they can't be allowed to get a job and when found out be terminated. Perhaps they can't receive any assistance of any sort, medical, legal, educational, or any other. Perhaps they should be prohibited from ever being allowed to apply for citizenship as a consequence of their illegal action. Perhaps it should apply globally to every person regardless of age. Perhaps knowledge of those facts, and it would become common knowledge quite rapidly, would cause the number of illegals entering to drop drastically.

So why are so many of them established here, working and sending money home to Mexico & Central America?
Not votes, people: jobs.
If employers were penalized for hiring them they'd stop coming here for work. OTOH, there's reality: I think it was the Governor of Texas who said that if every illegal working were sent home, there wouldn't be a restaurant left open in the whole state. [What they didn't say was that legislators would also lose their gardeners, nannies, and drivers, too.]
Illegals don't come here to vote - that's a nice deflection by those who benefit from the cheap labor, and since many of the beneficiaries are legislators, we, the people, lose again.

Perhaps they should be given 6 months to get out of the United States, since they have NO legal standing here, and after that 6 month grace period, be rounded up and sent back where they belong.

The United States NEEDS immigrants, we THRIVE on new ideas/thinking. Immigration is a LEGAL process. We have enough criminals of the home grown type, we don't need any more from outside.

I don't blame the people who came hoping for a better life, ready to work for what we wouldn't accept as wages, I blame the legislators who turned a blind eye to them, in their own self interest.

What about undocumented space aliens? Do we get to vote too?

Sorry about that, had to throw that one in. On other forums, I use that phrase right under my user handle, so I know there's at least one undocumented space alien around, who has been voting for quite a while now.

Depends on whether or not you have a working disrupter

Ragman, that's a phaser. Standard Starfleet side-arm, used by security. Since Red-Shirts had a tendency to beam down to the planet but had trouble not getting killed so they could beam back to the ship, I suggest not depending on hand-phasers.

Now, the Klingon disruptor, on the other hand-- maybe it might be useful. It seems to be good at killing Starfleet Red-Shirt security details, anyway.

I stand corrected.
