When going to customers on Clinton Ave, be aware that you are in Brooklyn from the time you exit 71 @ 130/Bellaire, and Brooklyn is one of 2 suburbs that have banned handheld cellphones.
If you run the turnpike to 480 to 71, you will also go through the other one: North Olmsted. NOPD are a frequent presence on 480 at the turnpike end, and they write a LOT of tickets. If you don't use a bluetooth, those are 2 places you don't want to be seen holding a cellphone to your ear.
And if you have a heavy foot, be aware of the notorious speed trap on 71 run by Linndale [a village so tiny they have less than 1/4 mile on 71]. It's just north of the exit @ 130/Bellaire, and it's a doozy: the cruiser sits under an overpass [the middle of 3 & the only one in their territory] snug against the wall. The road curves on both sides, so you'll never see it in time - Linndale writes so many tickets that Cleveland tried to order them to cease & desist, but lost the battle. It was pretty funny: Cleveland said Linndale was chasing speeders into Cleveland, which they were, because by the time Linndale got their cruiser moving, the speeder was in Cleveland, lol.
Local politics are a hoot - but tickets aren't!
