;)Can not wait to meet everyone this weekend at the Expo. (Even those that I disagree with.)
Now that I have settled into my new spot I hope to learn a few new things and meet a few of you owner-operators.
I think I will be going over Friday, but I think I may stay the whole weekend.
Heck, take in the Expo Friday and Saturday then head over to Cincinnati and watch the Reds play.
Well, hope to see you there, hope to talk to alot of people and alot of you disgrunted operators on with some of those 'other' carriers.

What is the booth number of your company? Will you have recruiters there?

Hey Hawk -

Boy, with you being a moderator it kind of doesn't bold well for the mature level needed to hold such a postion.

Your little hidden insults, rude little personal attacks, no wonder you come across like a child.

If, and when, and I doubt you ever will, decide to grow up and talk to me face to face - give me a call, you have the number.

Or better yet, look me up walking the lanes at the Expo, talking to all those operators that so many companies and individual moderators have butchered, abused and stepped on - all while thinking their own crap doesn't stink.

Well guess what Hawk - you stink!

Go ahead moderators delete this post again. But keep in mind Hawk once again started this barb.

I could say the same thing about you having your authority, since we're getting personal. Otherwise, I was trying to just poke a little fun. If you can't take a joke, maybe it's you who should grow up, Greg... especially when it's you who opened the door, WIDE open.

I have no problem with your post, tho. And your right. I do stink. Time for a shower. :)

Greg,
I have been reading quit a few of your postings on here! After reading the response you left to the email I sent you, I'm now sure you are who I thought. I wanted to let you know that I respect this forum as a way of passing information and idea's along in the industry. However what I have seen from you greatly surprises and disapoints me. When you and I first meant, a year and a half ago, you knew nothing about the Expediting business. You where unable to even retain a partner or a job with an owner. I doubt you have mastered the industry in such a short period of time. I have 9 years and am still learning! Do yourself and everyone who respects this industry a favor, and stop attacking everyone with the negative comments. Do the work and learn the business as everyone else does! Then and only then will you be shown the respect! I will be at the Expo! Stop by the TS both, I'll be there!

ATTENTION EVERYONE!

Let me first say this previous post by Dragonlady is one that finally got my attention. For those of you who have had the chance to met her, you will understand what I mean when I say she is one of the finest, most understanding, people you will ever run into and just a total class act.

Hearing someone like her address my behavior on many of these threads is truely upsetting. Noticing how disappointed she is in my actions is disturbing to me personally as well.

It quickly had me take note of myself, my actions and the behavior she spoke of.

I want to take this moment to say how deeply sorry I am to everyone, including Hawk, who I just went after again. To Dragonlady - dear I thought the world of you and your husband when I first met you and I always will.

I ask everyone to not forgive me but understand my actions and behavior were indeed uncalled for and for that I am sorry. While I hope everyone can forgive me, let me first work to earn your forgiveness, your trust and your respect.

Until we met down the road - thank you and once I again I am truely sorry to everyone I have hurt and disrespected.

Also, I do not believe at this time I will be attending the EXPO. But everyone -enjoy and be safe.

And with the moderators approval I will post this on a seperate thread as well - once they say OK.

Once again, thank you for your time.

I'm not sure I could say anything DraganLady didn't say. The door was opened with all this "I'm a carrier" and merger bs.
Many of the EO folks have been around for awhile. It isn't likely you will see something posted that one wouldn't tell you in person. I as well will be at the expo.
Look forward to finding your booth and visiting with your recruiters.

I'm sorry I won't be at the Expo Again this year because my step son is getting married. One of the trucks that I manage will be their, ER5230. It's a very nice truck that Wayne Jirsa had built and painted. If you get a chance look at the artwork on this truck. Keith Gill is the driver and takes pride in driving this truck for (Integrity Motor Freight) who bought the truck from Wayne a year ago. Stop by and check this truck out. It will be parked nexted to Joey Holiday.

U see....everytime the expo is around I seem to be doing pretty good mileage wise. I've been so busy this week I can barely remember that it is "Wednesday" half the time.....I just ran a load on Saturday to Pineville, LA from Jackson Center, Oh for 972 miles. I dh to Houston, TX where it truely is Hot in Hell. It was 102 both Saturday, and Sunday. Monday I gave up on Texas (Hell) when I was still 2nd out on the Galveston board. I started to head to Florida and visit family when I barely got to Baton Rouge and there was the "beep". I landed a nice fish and p/u a load going from St. Rose, LA to Westville, NJ for 1,234 miles. p/u on Monday and dropped today. Got done running that load and headed to the Flyin Hook down there exit 2C in NJ off of 295. 4 hrs later got another load 155 miles from MD to Richmond, VA area. Now I'm sittin here trying to decide weather to head back to my Uncles in Florida, or go to Ohio....to the expo. It's the same distance either way.....hmmm what to do....what to do........ Eny Meany Mini Moe.....where my van goes noone knows.....:D

Awright, Shawn - good week, eh? In your shoes, I'd definitely choose the Expo, (you can visit the uncle another time, right?) but in my flipflops, I'm goin to Boise, sigh. I turned it down, but they really, really want me to go, (and it makes around 3400 miles for the week!) so what can I say? (Paid DH to Salt Lake City, for starters, lol):D
Hope everyone has a blast, and I can't wait to see the photos.

Well Missie, I wouldn't trade a 3600 mile week (read that fellas she's running single), and a weekend in Idaho for a looong dead head from far west of the Missip for a weekend in Ohio in this lifetime. Enjoy your destination.
