I need privacy!

I just started driving a cargo van for a panther fleet owner. The cargo van does not have privacy curtains and I would like to know where I can get some for a good price. I saw some in a TA, but those are too big and too expensive.

I went to a fabric shop and bought black cloth. The fabric people know people in the area that sew, so I had some sewn. I think I spent $20 for each. I put hooks on the ends and some of that flex cord in the middle. Made it so it goes all the way around side glass also. I've done it for all my trucks.

Covering the windshield & both door windows is quick and easy with a couple big towels, using safety pins pushed into the fabric headliner above the windows.

Some drivers use those folding sun shields. In a pinch or on the cheap, you can always sacrifice an old dark collored blanket or hang a curtain behind the drivers seat thread it onto a nylon covered bungee cord If youre a newbee try not to spend too much money to live on the road just in case it dosent work out.

Legit: can you handle a needle & thread, just basic stitching? If so, it's not hard to make curtains - I made a pair that attached with 3 small pcs of velcro: one at each rear corner above the doors, and one above the middle of the windshield. They sell velcro in packs that have both sticky [for above the windows] and non sticky that you sew on the curtains to attach. They go up & come down quick and don't cost much $ or take much space. I just left them hang behind the seats, dangling from the one pc of velcro, and they worked fine.

I bought a roll of Reflectix and cut it to fit the vans windows. For the side windows I just rolled the very edge of the Reflectix up in the window and used the mirror and sun visors to hold the front piece in place.

Spend the money on the roll of refletix. Come warm weather it is worth every penny.

Lowes look around the insulation area you probably want the 4ft tall. It is around 44 bucks. Sometimes using the outside of the window to make your cut works well. You can do like suggested and say roll the top edge in the side window. You can also use some Velcro to hold it in place if you don't mind a few small pieces on the edges of your window.

GO with the reflectix. Been using it for 7 years now. It also makes it easier to keep the cab temp better.

Before ya go and starting pushing holes and taping sticky things to someone else's vehicle I would check with the owner first and see if he/she is ok with it.
Not sure I would want my headliner pulled down from the weight or from pulling the curtain off. Doesn't take much for fabric to separate from the backer-board it is glued to.
Plenty of sunscreens out there to choice from or like some said make your own to fit the windows,Easy and light weight to fold up and out of your way.
On my rear windows on a van I did install snaps inside the rear door windows and on a heavy vinyl fabric,, easy to black out the whole van that way.
Like I said check with the owner before drilling or making any mods to his vechicle..
Nothing worst then getting the truck home and seeing holes drilled/punched in it somewhere from the driver because he/she thought it would be ok.
